Yost Law provides automated text message reminders to active clients regarding upcoming court dates, hearing times, locations, and Zoom appearance codes. Text reminders are provided as a courtesy to assist with schedule tracking. Not all clients can receive these reminders. Technical issues may prevent the receipt of such reminders. Ultimately, it is the client's the responsibility to verify hearing dates and times.
Message frequency varies and depends on the number and schedule of court hearings assigned to the case.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your cellular provider plan.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After texting STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and no further automated reminders will be sent.
Failure to receive a text reminder does not excuse a failure to appear at a mandatory court hearing.
